Bouncing Beans is our breakfast and after-school club which serves both Alderman Pounder Infants and Eskdale Juniors. Bouncing Beans is based in the Pod and the Potting Shed at Alderman Pounder and they benefit from having access to our wildlife garden, pets' corner, pond and allotment. They also make use of our school site for outdoor activities. Inside children can cook, do craft activities, play games and have access to lots of books for quiet time.

The children are encouraged to choose what they want to do but with a high staff ratio they are always supervised and help is at hand should they need it.

Late collection from Nursery or Bouncing Beans

A late collection fee will be chargeable, unless agreed otherwise by the Headteacher, for example in one-off exceptional circumstances. If your child has not been collected after their session has ended (e.g. 11.45am, 3.30pm or 6.00pm), then a £10.00 charge will be levied and for every fifteen minutes thereafter. All parents/carers will be given a five-minute grace period on late collection of their child, unless this becomes a regular occurrence.

Late collection from school (Reception to Year 2)

A late collection fee will be chargeable, unless agreed otherwise by the Headteacher, for example in one-off exceptional circumstances. If your child has not been collected after the school day has ended at 3.15pm, then a £11.00 charge will be levied to cover the cost of Bouncing Beans After School Club. All parents/carers will be given a five-minute grace period on late collection of their child, unless this becomes a regular occurrence.
