Remote Learning
Whilst we continue to prioritise high-quality face-to-face education to all pupils, there may be times when we offer remote education to individual or a group of children. Remote education will only be considered as a short-term measure and as a last resort where a child's attendance is not possible.
This might include:
- when it is not possible for us to open safely, or opening would go against guidance from local or central government
- when individual pupils, for a limited time, are unable to physically attend their school but are able to continue learning, for example if they have an infectious illness
In these circumstances children can be given access to remote learning, typically within one day of their absence starting when requested by families.
