Parents are a vital part of our school community and their support is crucial, whether in the home by reading with their child, helping them with homework or simply by taking an interest in their learning.
Throughout the year we offer sessions to support our parents with such things as phonics, reading and mathematics. Outside agencies also offer a variety of fun training opportunities, making excellent use of our additional learning space, The Pod.
We are delighted that many of our parents get involved in helping in school and enjoy supporting our children in a variety of ways such as helping with reading, crafts, baking, trips etc. We are always keen for additional help and we would encourage anyone interested in helping in school to speak to any member of staff. However much or little time you can offer – every little helps and is very much appreciated by staff and children alike.
